18.07.08 - A really relaxing week away from it all, we've completely recharged out batteries thanks to the peaceful surroundings and good local wine!!. Try a walk in the Monti Sibillini National Park, we walked from Foce to Lago di Pilsio, hard going-need good footwear and a lot of perseverance but well worth it, need the whole day. Also went wine tasting, really nice guy and great wines, worth going at the start of the week to stock up. Spent some time at the coast, we went to Portonovo walked around the coves, also Sirolo is a nice coast to stop for drinks. Emma & Owen

26.07.08 - Had an 'extraordinarily' nice week (according to our girls)!. (Rosa)age 11,It was great here I loved the swimming pool, every one was very friendly to us and I really enjoyed it, I wish we had a house here, Thank you. (Maya)age 10, Alot to see in one week but we had enough time to see it all, also lots of information from Dawn & Mark, the BBQ was great for the evening, it was a great house for the summer. (Jackie) Some of the best things were - walking in Mont Sibilini, saw an eagle, fantastic butterflies and dragonflies, visited Amandola, Ascoli Piceno, lovely town great piazza and delicious icecream. (Katri)What a great week we've seen many beautiful sights, the lake Fiastra was the best, turquiese waters, so refreshing. The food here is so tasty, and the Italian people are so friendly and helpful (so unlike London). Thanks for everything.

12.08.08 - This is a beautiful villa in a marvelous location, the local scenery is wonderful, pool is great Maddi loved it. Visited Frasassi Gorge and caves, well worth the trip, quite spectacular, about an hours drive. Assasi is lovely great place full of history, also Sarnano lovely, very relaxing week and wonderful weather. Peter, Lynn, Sarah, Maddi, Simon & Anna.

19.08.08 - Lovely house, good location, well equipped with everything you could need including the BBQ, pool lovely for cooling off after sunning ourselves, weather was exceptional, we have all enjoyed outselves, thanks. Jo & Chris Budd & friends.

3.08.09 - We spent a really nice week in Casa Santancini Annex, it is a really nice and beautiful house, what a view, we will never forget. Dawn is very friendly and gave us all the information that we need to tour this region. The pool was very nice and refreshing, we had a walk by the Lake Fiastra and that was really amazing. 08.08.09 - After more than 15 visits in Toscana (Tuscany) and Unbria, we found this marvellous little place in Le Marche, charming, quiet and lovely. 16.08.09 - We have been here for one wonderful week and could not have asked for a more helpful and sincere host. Dawn you are a fantastic person!. We have enjoyed the local food and fallen in love with the local wines - Rocchi Marche Bianco and Le Sodere to name a few. Edgar and I hope to return as we have fallen in love with the Annex and the comfort it affords, we will definitely recommend Casa Santancini to all out friends. Thank you very much. 22.08.09 - A delightful 5 days in a beautiful part of Le Marche, very comfortable accommodation, with a great pool to cool down during these very hot and humid days. I wish I could stay longer, if only I had known! Visited and would recommend: Ripe de San Ginesio, Camporotondo, Tolentino, Serrapetrona, Cessapalombo, Colmurano and of course Caldarola! Ascoli Piceno 'a must' visiting Sarnano & Amandola en route or vice versa, roads good, beautiful scenery would have done much more, next time! as a 'lone' traveller felt very safe in the area and driving which was a first in Italy, ok.
